As part of our series of Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards interviews, we caught up with Tania Follett, Managing Director at Empire Security Solutions. Established in 2003, Tania and her team have worked tirelessly to offer high quality security packages across the Bracknell Forest area and beyond. Earlier this year, at the Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards, Empire Security Solutions came runner-up in the Business of the Year category.
What did you think of the 2018 ceremony?
I thought the Awards were an amazing tribute and celebration of the people and organisations who are the heartbeat of the community. These awards are empowering and highlight how many remarkable people out there who are willing to give up their time to support others.
Why do you think it is important to hold these awards?
To have these Awards that highlight everyday people is so important. These organisations and individuals are the unsung heroes of the community, so there is a need to recognise significant and outstanding achievements that impact and change the lives of others. The Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards continue to highlight how valuable these contributions are, and this ceremony is a fantastic platform.
How did your business react to the award?
Empire Security Solutions Ltd were very humbled and honoured to be nominated for a Business award. To receive so many nominations from the community gave everyone at Empire a great sense of pride.
