In 2007, Mike and Alison Battle realised their long-held dream of bringing the stories they had imagined for their own young sons at Christmas to life with the creation of Lapland UK, an immersive and authentic representation of Father Christmas’ arctic homeland right here in Berkshire.
Lapland UK is sponsoring the Sport and Leisure Young Person’s Award. This category recognises those from the region who are under 18 and have made outstanding commitments to the fields of Sport and Leisure, and those whose achievements are laudable even at a younger age.

These awards are a wonderful recognition of all the inspirational people within the borough who selflessly give of themselves to better the lives of others.

The Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards will be held on the 1st April 2022, when all winners will be announced.
