Founded in 1826, we are one of the oldest family businesses in Berkshire and remain family owned today. From pre-planning and funeral plans to arranging the funeral itself, to bereavement aftercare and even monumental masonry and memorialisation; we offer choice and flexibility so we can deliver the right options for you.

We’re also focused on delivering environmentally sustainable funeral services by measuring, reducing and offsetting our carbon use and have been carbon neutral for several years. We aim to be net zero by 2026, our bicentenary.

Bracknell BID

The Bracknell Southern and Western Business Areas comprise of some 400 acres of retail, industrial, warehousing and office space, located west of Bracknell town centre. The area is home is over 300 businesses, many of which are key, not just to Bracknell and the Thames Valley, but nationally and internationally.

In 2020, businesses voted in favour of the Southern and Western Business Areas becoming a Business Improvement District (BID), known as the Bracknell BID, the trading name of Bracknell Investment Group Ltd.

Content Guru is a leader in cloud communications technology, supplying mission-critical Customer Engagement and Experience solutions to hundreds of large organisations across the globe. The company has been based in Bracknell Forest since its inception in 2005, and is heavily involved in charitable and community-focused activities.

In 2007, Mike and Alison Battle realised their long-held dream of bringing the stories they had imagined for their own young sons at Christmas to life with the creation of LaplandUK, an immersive and authentic representation of Father Christmas’ arctic homeland right here in Berkshire. A spokesperson commented “These awards continue to be a wonderful recognition of the inspirational people within the borough who selflessly give of themselves to better the lives of others.”

Nike Group

Nike Group’s businesses include the Coppid Beech Hotel, Shell Lightfoots, Jubilee Building Supplies, Skitech Systems, and four Leisuresport Centres. John Nike OBE DL was proud of his Bracknell heritage, and always strove to be involved in charity work and community improvement throughout the area. He supported generations of local individuals, and as such, the decision to sponsor the Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards was a natural one.
